Academic and innovation fellowships in Brazil can be awarded by FAPESP (São Paulo Research Foundation), CNPq (National Council for Scientific and Technological Development), CAPES (Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel), TWAS (The World Academy of Sciences) or by any other institution (public or private) that Prof. Raphael Nagao has a cooperation. Prospective MS and PhD students interested to enroll in the Graduate Program of the Institute of Chemistry at UNICAMP must apply for the Unified Chemistry Exam. The top-ranked incomers in the exam (around the 10 to 20th place) automatically secure a CNPq or CAPES fellowship. That is also possible to apply for a FAPESP fellowship, in parallel, if the candidate has an excellent curriculum or any previous experience in correlated fields (Electrochemistry, Physical Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Materials Science, Engineering, etc) with publication of scientific papers and participation in conferences. For postdoctoral researchers and undergraduate students, the application usually occurs on a continuous basis throughout the year. Find below some details of each fellowship and how to apply for it.
